VIDEO: John reflects on the OCR hike

07 June. Filmed immediately following the decision by Reserve Bank Governor Alan Bollard to raise the Official Cash Rate (OCR) to 8%. John discusses the fact that this latest hike will cause a great deal of pain for mortgage holders and businesses, especially coupled with the extremely strong dollar that is itself largely a product of those very high interest rates, and lays the blame at Government's door for excessive spending.
