Video Journal - 02 October 2012

I'm about to head off to Los Angeles for a series of meetings with top movie and television executives in which I'll be promoting New Zealand as a great choice for major projects. The film industry in New Zealand accounts for a small but significant portion of national GDP and employment. It's the kind of industry we want and need more of to make the economy grow.

On another note, recorded crime is dropping, reaching a fifteen-year low in 2011. For more on that, see Police Minister Anne Tolley's media release.

The most interesting part of this little story on the news, and perhaps the whole Kim.Com thing, has to be John Key's blue tie with pink elephants. dot.com saga, who cares!

To prove you're not a spambot, just answer this simple question: Who is the Prime Minister of New Zealand?
