On the House debate
13 February. On this, the first day of Parliament for 2007, the Prime Minister delivered her statement of intent, outlining the Labour-led Government's plans going forward. As Leader of the Opposition, John Key spoke in response to that speech (media release here and video of John's speech in the House here), saying in part that the "Labour Government has run out of ideas and energy, and is rapidly running out of time." Immediately after leaving the House, John spoke with NTV about the speeches. |
