Key is presenting a great image to the New Zealand with every exceptiional speech. He seems to be continually winning the youth vote with every video journal. I would like to congratulate the National Party and Key on their superb marketing campaign!! A victory in 2008 is assured!! For Key to continue his climb up the polls he will require some real support from his other MPs and a bit of hard work from the able grass roots of New Zealand's greatest political party. I usually don't get too optimistic this far out from an election but I don't think Key can lose.

Mr Key, your talk is fine but when are you going to show some real leadership? This bill is an attack on the family and the democratic process. National appears to be happy to score political points but not take effective action against this unpopular bill. National could have supported Judy Turner supported an amendment calling for a referendum before the bill became law. Their may have been a problem with the 60% requirement but if that was a major then National could have proposed a similar amendment with a 50% requirement. It is not too late for such an amendment but not too late to make this bill an election issue. National instead has decided to wait till closer to the election and check the polling and focus groups before deciding if there are enough votes in it to make it an issue. This law is wrong. It will harm families and create acrimony in separations. National should come out now and say whether they will repeal the bill if it becomes law or introduce an amendment like Chester Borrows. It would be nice if you responded to similar questions on your blog. It is painfully slow to download your video for these of us on dial up. It is much easier to read a written response.
