Post-Cabinet Press Conference on the Flu Outbreak

Good afternoon. The process today will be that I'm going to make some comments in relation to the influenza A outbreak that we have, then I'm going to pass over to the Minister and ask him to make some comments and then we will answer any questions you have in relation to that. Then we will take all other questions on other things that we are going to answer. Let me just start with that.

Dear Hon John key (The Prime Minster) Thanks for the updated comments by you and the national party. I would like to comment about this subject that is the Type A influenza virus is not a serious infection if it is treated. I do not beleive that is a serious matter in N.Z, because it is belong to the invironment that is the virus infection came from. Other thing it depends for the virus weather is weak or strong enough to infect a lot of people. Also it depends to the immunity for the people weather they got other infection or their low immunity. The most importnat thing to be care for the patients in the hospitals who are more likely to be infect with any virus more than other. Thanks for your time. Kind Regards, Zena Fadheel
