26 May - Press conference on new illegal driving laws

26 May. The Prime Minister, Police Minister Judith Collins and Transport Minister Steven Joyce in a press conference to announce new measures being initiated by the government to combat illegal street racing.

i think the new driving laws are not for the best, it will not prevent all accidents from happening. If people have jobs or need to go pick somone up because they are intoxicated and they are under 21 but still have there license and it could mean the difference between the intoxicated person getting home safely and trying to drive home. Which is better somone under 21 driving on the road after 12:00 midnight or an intoxicated driver putting everyone at risk.
