ACC levies for motor vehicles and motor cycles. I think that it is unfair that ACC levies are now going to be so high for vehicles and motor cycles when, people who just simply have a vehicle or motorcycle for recreational purposes (road legal purposes). The only to achieve fairness for all is to purchase your proposed travel kilometres, the same as diesel vehicles do.If the ACC proportion was removed from the licencing aspect and charged at say 4 cents a kilometre, that would mean a complete user pays system for all. Those who ride their motorcycle 2000km per year and those who drive 50000km per year will pay accordingly. How fair is that?? I think it is very fair.
